Welcome to the perspective of Late Prince Emeka Morocco Maduka Biography, popularly known as “King of Ekpili”, is a famous Nigerian Igbo Traditional highlife Musician. Born 1947.

Mr Morocco was born and bred in ukwulu, Anambra State, Nigeria his State Of Origin. He was 76 years old before joining his ancestors (death) on Thursday 28th October, 2020.

Before his death he was in an interview with sun news we’re he said that he will retire from singing once he clock 80years.

Emeka Morocco Maduka began his Igbo highlife music career at the age of 12 years old, even though his father was not in support of him becoming a musician, he never relented.

Morocco Maduka came into the limelight after releasing his first album titled “Aya Nigeria” (The Nigerian War) In the year 1971. In 1974, he lets go of his second a album under Tabansi records. He has been in the highlife music industry for over 60years.

He has released more than 120 Igbo highlife music which includes; “Ubanesse”, “Ama Ndi Aneze”, “Eze Ego”, “Divine Petition”, “Kanyi Gbaba Mbo Dika Aluru”,e.t.c. alongside with top Nigerian highlife musicans like: “late Chief Osita Osadebe”, “late Chief Ozoemenam Nwansugbe”, “later Chief Oliver De Coque”, and many more.

He is one of the members of Performing Musicians Association of Nigeria (PMAN).

Late Chief Morocco Maduka is married and a father of eight Children four Sons and four Daughters with grandchildren.


Prince Emeka Morocco Maduka passed away on the 29th October 2020 at the age of 73. Morocco Maduka’s death was announced by Ikeme Mazeli, chairman of the Performing Musicians Association of Nigeria (PMAN) Anambra.


Morocco Maduka is one of the popular Nigerian Igbo Traditional highlife musicians with estimated Networth to be $750,000 million dollars.
